I finally counted how many variant covers are in my long box
I was organizing my collection last night and got curious, so I tallied it up. Turns out 43 out of my 200 comics are variants, and I never even noticed how many I was grabbing off the shelf just for the cover art. Has anyone else realized they own way more variants than they thought?

Oh, "feel your pain" is putting it mildly, @davis.emma. I did the same tally a few months ago and came up with 58 variants out of 180. Honestly, I just wanted the cool covers but now I'm stuck with 4 identical interiors and a very confused storage system. It's like I'm collecting the same story over and over but with different hats on the cover. Worse part is I can't even sell most of them because nobody wants a random Venom #5 variant from 2021. At least I'm not alone in this mess, right? How many of yours are actually worth the paper they're printed on?
