Hot take: a guy at a shop in Toledo flipped my view on digital comics with one line
I swore digital was killing the floppy for years until a guy at a shop in Toledo handed me his tablet mid-argument and said "I read twice as many books now, and I still buy the ones I love in print," which made me realize the habit was never the paper.
That line from the Toledo guy gets repeated a lot but it misses a step. Reading twice as many books is mostly a digital thing since the floppies cost four or five bucks a pop now. The print copies people keep are the ones they go back to, so the habit really is the paper for those.
