Vent: My $20 french press exploded this morning lol

I was pressing down and the glass carafe just shattered everywhere. Coffee and glass all over my kitchen floor in St. Paul. Anyone else stick with a cheap press or should I just upgrade to a stainless steel one?

Yeah, I ditched glass carafes years ago for this exact reason. Stainless steel ones are like ten bucks more and they last forever. Never looked back.
