Had to pick between a $22 burr hand grinder and a $200 electric one, went cheap first
I stood in this tiny cafe in Tucson holding both, and my hands were still sore from hand grinding for a month straight.
I picked the $22 hand grinder and honestly my pour overs tasted better the first two days, but by day three I was over the arm workout at 6am.
Did the cheap one actually grind more even for you, or am I just telling myself that to feel better about saving the cash?
lmao "arm workout at 6am" is way too real, I lasted about two weeks before mine became a fancy paperweight. The truth is cheap burr grinders can be just as even as expensive ones, you're not crazy. The electric one just saves your wrists, not your taste buds.
