That one day my code actually compiled on the first try

Spent all Saturday night debugging a recursive function for a binary tree. Kept getting null pointer errors. Woke up Sunday morning. Rewrote the whole thing from scratch in 20 minutes. Has anyone else had a problem magically fix itself after just stepping away?

Have you tried rubber duck debugging? Works every time.

Haha nah man I had a buddy who tried it with a literal rubber duck and his cat knocked it off the desk mid sentence. He just sat there staring at the wall for 5 minutes.
