Local library vs online course for learning Python basics

I spent 2 weeks going back and forth between the free Python class at my local library and a $30 Udemy course. Ended up going with the library because the instructor was right there to answer dumb questions. Anyone else find in-person help way better when you are just starting out?

Yeah the in-person thing is huge when you are learning... you can ask the dumbest questions without feeling judged. That library class sounds way better than a video where you just get stuck and have to pause and google everything yourself. The Udemy course might cover more ground but if you hit a wall on day two what are you even supposed to do... wait for the discussion board to maybe get answered in a week. Having someone look at your code and say "oh you forgot a colon right there" saves so much frustration. Plus the library is free so you can try it and if it doesn't click you just move on to something else.
