That moment I realized my setup was backwards

Last week I caught myself reaching across the machine to grab coolant just like I always do. Then it hit me - if I moved the bottle rack to the left side of the mill like my buddy Dave suggested 3 years ago, I would save 2 seconds per part. Has anyone else had one of those little layout changes that made a big difference?

Dave from work told me about this exact thing with his lathe. He moved his tool tray from the back to the side and cut 30 seconds off every part changeover. 2 seconds per part adds up fast if you run a thousand of them. Make that rack move, you'll wonder why you waited so long.
