Had a buddy who snagged one of those for his Bridgeport. Thing came looking like it lived through a flood and he spent more on fixing it than just buying new.

Bought a used lathe off Craigslist once that looked like it had been stored in a swamp. Spent more on bearings and a new motor than I did on the whole damn thing. Guess we both learned the hard way, huh?
