The problem with putting solar panels on every single roof
I keep seeing people online saying every house should just get solar panels, no questions asked. But I live in Seattle where we get like 150 days of rain a year. My neighbor put them on 3 years ago and his payback period is something like 18 years because the output is so low. Meanwhile my cousin in Arizona got hers paid off in 5 years. Can we stop acting like one size fits all works for solar?
