Serious question, why does every climate app want me to log stuff for a year before it shows anything useful
I tried one of those carbon tracker apps back in January to see where my footprint was coming from, and it wanted 12 months of utility bills and grocery receipts before it would show me a single number. I gave up after 3 weeks in Phoenix because my electric bill swings so hard between summer and winter that the yearly average is basically meaningless. Feels like the whole point is collecting my data, not helping me cut anything, and honestly the paper checklist from my library did more in one afternoon. Has anyone found a tool that gives you an actual answer in under a week, or do they all work like this?
