I used to think my old truck was fine until I saw the math on a gas receipt

Honestly, I was filling up my 2002 Ford Ranger for the third time that week, and the total was over $90. I wrote the mileage down on the receipt like always, but this time I actually did the math. Ngl, it hit me that I was burning through a full tank just driving to work and back, about 40 miles a day. Has anyone else had a moment like that where the cost just made the waste super clear?

Remember that friend I told you about, tyler_hernandez? His old Bronco was so bad. We drove to a concert once, maybe 40 miles. Had to stop for gas on the way there and again on the way back. Felt like we were just feeding it money.
