Wrote off rotary chimney brushes for 7 years, then watched a sweep in Albany clean a 30 foot flue in 4 minutes
Always figured the spinning ones just polished the creosote instead of cutting it, but his brush head hit the right rpm and the glazed stuff came off in flakes with way less mess than my flat wire setup, so now I'm curious if anyone else switched and regretted it or if I'm late to the party.

Ever try one on a cold flue? Glaze shatters way cleaner than warm.
