The day I found a whole raccoon family in a flue in Portland

It was a routine job until the damper wouldn't budge, and then we heard the chittering. Had to call animal control and reschedule the whole week because of the nesting materials packed in there. Anyone else had a critter situation completely derail your schedule?

Bet the animal control guys have seen it all. Makes you wonder what the weirdest thing they've ever pulled out of a chimney is.

Yeah @the_jordan, it's wild how much weird stuff gets stuck in normal places...
