My vacuum hose split during a cleanout yesterday
It was a 2-inch poly hose on my SootMaster rig, and it tore right at the coupling. I had to finish the job with my old brush and drop cloth, which added an hour. What's a more durable hose brand you guys trust?

Been there, done that, got the soot-stained t-shirt. My old hose blew out like a confetti cannon at a grime party. What a mess. I switched to Masterflex hoses a few years back and they are TOUGH. The inner lining is way thicker, and the wire helix feels like it could survive a car running over it. That extra cost stings at first, but not having a job go sideways is worth every penny.
