My favorite brush snapped clean in half last Tuesday

I was working on a job in Springfield cleaning a big masonry flue and my go-to 10 inch round wire brush just broke right at the handle connection. The head fell straight down into the firebox and I had to fish it out with a shop vac hose. Has anyone else had a brush fail like that mid-job? What brand do you trust for heavy use?

Honestly I've never had that problem with a Kwik-Brush and I use mine on tough jobs all the time.

My cousin Tim bought a Kwik-Brush last spring and he's been bragging about it nonstop... funny enough he used it to scrub the grime off his old grill and it came out looking brand new. @uma_mitchell83 I think that's the key right there, just having one that's made for the rough stuff. My own brush finally gave out after I dropped it in a bucket of paint thinner one too many times.
