Guy in Tulsa told me to my face my brush was too small for his flue
Had a call out to a house off Peoria Ave in Tulsa two weeks back and the homeowner, Mr. Halbrook, stood in his driveway and told me my 8 inch brush would not fit his 12x12 clay flue, like I hadn't been doing this for years. I pulled the brush, ran it down, and showed him the soot line where it hit the shelf at the top of the firebox. He still wanted a second opinion, so I let him call another sweep who said the same thing I did. How do you all handle the ones who stand there and question your tools before you even get the ladder off the truck?
