Warning: the foam pad I bought made my seams pop in 2 weeks

I put down that $180 rebond pad from the big box store in a rental in Denver and within two weeks the seams lifted on a medium traffic bedroom. It just didn't hold staples right, so I had to tear up 400 square feet and redo it with proper dense pad. Anyone else had rebond fail on them that fast or did I get a bad batch?

Did the staples just bounce right off that thing, or did the foam decide to audition for a magic act and vanish? Sounds like you bought the world's most expensive yoga mat in disguise.
