TIL a 30-year vet was right about stretching rooms over 12 feet
Back in March I was doing a bedroom in a house near Fort Worth, about 14 by 16, and I figured I could power stretch it and save myself a seam. The old guy who trained me always said 'anything past 12 feet, seam it or you'll be back,' and I laughed it off at the time. Sure enough, three weeks later the homeowner sent me a pic of a wrinkle running right down the middle, so now I'm wondering, do you all seam it every time past 12 feet or just when the backing feels soft?
