Pro tip: What a backyard barbecue taught me about carpet installs...
I was at a friend's house for a barbecue last weekend... and someone asked me about carpet seams in their sunroom. I started explaining the process, but then their dog ran through with muddy paws... right over the new carpet samples. Everyone laughed, but it hit me... we're so focused on perfect installs that we forget about real life messes. Now, I always suggest stain-resistant options for high-traffic areas... and remind clients that pets and kids are part of the home. It's made my consultations way smoother... and clients appreciate the practical advice. Funny how a slobbery dog can teach you about customer service...

You make a good point about real life messes, but stain-resistant carpets aren't always foolproof. Some treatments wear down with harsh cleaners, so it's worth mentioning proper maintenance too.

My friend's carpet stain guard washed right out.
