Vent: my cousin turned down a $52k job in Tulsa because it was "only" 52k, and now he's 8 months with nothing
Some folks say take the first decent offer so you stop the gap, others say hold out or you'll get stuck at that pay forever. He had no degree and no other offers on the table, so I think the math was pretty simple and he fumbled it. Which camp are you in?

Does he actually have a plan for what he's holding out for, or is he just sitting around waiting for something better to fall in his lap? Because 8 months with no degree and no other offers tells me nobody's beating down his door. What does he say when you ask him what job he thinks he deserves and what he's doing to get it?
