That $80 professional resume rewrite nearly cost me a job interview

I paid a service $80 to rewrite my delivery driver resume so it sounded more professional. They turned my route planning into 'logistical optimization' and my customer interactions into 'client relations management'. I sent it to a moving company and the hiring manager called me confused asking if I was applying for a desk job. Has anyone else had a resume service totally miss what you actually do?

Honestly they probably knew "logistical optimization" was BS anyway.

Oh man, I've got a story about this. My friend Sarah got hired at this company where they kept saying they needed "logistical optimization" for months. Everyone in the meetings just nodded along like it made total sense. Turns out the whole time they were just talking about reorganizing the supply closet and changing the shipping software. The CEO finally admitted at a team lunch that he made up the phrase because it sounded more important than "we need to clean up the warehouse." Sarah said the whole team just stared at each other like, we wasted six months on that? It was ridiculous lol.
