My fort building changed when I stopped using tape
I used to tape every single cardboard seam like crazy, spending like 20 minutes on just sealing edges. Last month I tried just folding tabs and slots from old boxes to lock pieces together, like a puzzle. Now I build way faster and can take the fort apart easier to store it. Has anyone else tried no-tape builds or got a better method for connecting walls?

Tape was always the weakest link in my forts anyway... used to spend way too much time reinforcing corners just for them to peel off after my cat walked through. Pocket flaps from those Amazon boxes make surprisingly good hinges if you fold them right.

Wait, you mean I've been wasting my entire childhood wrestling with that sticky nightmare when I could have just been folding cardboard into a masterpiece? My fingers are still traumatized from peeling off old tape residue.
