The old timer at the shop said to quit chasing shutter speeds by ear, and he was right
Spent 6 months swearing my ear could nail a 1/125 sync on a Pentax K1000 until Ray at the shop on 9th made me run 12 test rolls through a $40 shutter tester and every single one drifted between 1/95 and 1/140, so now the tester comes out before the screwdrivers do, anyone else get humbled like that?
