I always used the standard 1.5mm driver for Canon lens screws. A guy in the shop told me to switch to a JIS #00 for the tiny ones. Tried it on an old FD 50mm and it was a game changer. No more stripped heads. What's your go-to for those micro screws?

Yeah, that "game changer" feeling is real. I had the same issue with a stuck screw on a lens mount. Switched to a proper JIS driver and it just turned without any fight. The fit in the screw head is so much tighter.

My watchmaker friend swears by those JIS drivers for camera screws too.
