Hit 500 residential drops this month and it finally clicked

I've been doing this 12 years and somehow never kept track before, but last month I tallied 512 installs. Seeing that number made me realize how much the job has changed since I started with those old analog boxes in the early 2010s. Anyone else stop to count their monthly volume and get surprised?

That's wild to think about, 500 is a whole different ballgame from the old days. Bet the gear you're slapping in now is way lighter than those clunky boxes.

Kept an old 500 series module on my desk for years just to remind myself how far we've come. Thing weighed like 8 pounds and ran so hot you could fry an egg on it. Now I'm swapping in these little aluminum boxes that barely get warm. Feels like cheating compared to what we used to lug around. Your mileage may vary but I'll take modern lightweight any day.
