Bought a $200 Klein crimper and it failed on job 3

I picked up the Klein VDV226-110 crimper from Home Depot a couple weeks ago thinking it would save me time on coax terminations. It stripped the connector threads on a drop at the Miller Apartments complex yesterday. Anyone else have trouble with these newer Klein tools?

Must be the new Klein standard - paying more for the privilege of having it break faster. At least my $30 special from Amazon fails with style instead of pretending to be premium.

Man, that sucks! I had almost the exact same thing happen with mine. Bought the same model thinking it was gonna be a beast, and it stripped the threads on a connector before I even finished my first apartment complex job. I was so annoyed because I've always trusted Klein stuff, but this one felt really cheap compared to the old ones. I'm starting to wonder if they're just riding on their name now and cutting corners. I'm honestly just using my old cheapo crimper again until I find something better.
