Warning: I think everyone's obsession with pocket screws for face frames is a bit much.
Had a client in Springfield demand a solid maple frame, so I used my Domino joiner for the first time on that joint, and the alignment was perfect, no shifting at all during glue-up, so what's your go-to method for a really clean face frame?

Tried the Domino on a walnut frame last month and it was a game changer. No more chasing those pocket screw joints around.

So you're done with pocket screws for good now? I always found those joints could shift a little on me when clamping, especially with a wood like walnut that's got some movement to it. Did the Domino give you a really tight fit right away, or did you have to tweak the settings to get it perfect for that project?
