Pocket screws vs. dowels for face frames, still torn after 40 units
I built a full kitchen set for a client in Columbus and had to pick one method for all 40 face frames. Pocket screws won because of speed, but I hate seeing the holes on the inside rails. Dowels look cleaner but I messed up alignment twice early on and lost maybe 3 hours fixing it. Anyone else land on one method for production work, or do you switch it up depending on the cabinet?
