Can we talk about switching from a bandsaw to a hand saw for breaking down primals?
I used to run everything through the bandsaw at my shop in Austin, even rib sections. But after I had to stop and replace the blade mid-shift for the third time last Tuesday, I grabbed a bone saw and figured I'd try it old school. The cuts were cleaner, no metal dust, and I didn't lose any meat to the blade kerf. Has anyone else ditched the machine for hand tools on certain cuts?

Yeah, switching to a hand saw for breaking down primals cuts way cleaner and you don't lose any meat to the blade kerf.

Wait, are you using a bow saw or something else for that? I tried a hacksaw on a rib primal once and it was a mess, but @parker543 you're making me think I should give a handsaw another shot, maybe a cheap one from the hardware store.
