PSA: I just learned that 60% of small business inventory errors come from manual data entry mistakes, not theft
Read it in a supply chain audit report last week and it makes me wonder how much money we've lost over the years just from typos and fat fingers, has anyone else switched to barcode scanning to fix this?

60% of small business inventory errors come from manual data entry" - that's wild. My buddy once lost a whole pallet of dog food because someone typed "022" instead of "202" and nobody caught it for months.
