DAE notice how much packaging waste is eating into profits?

If we don't switch to greener packaging, we'll keep losing money and getting customer complaints.

Totally see this everywhere now. Ordered a burger last week and it came in a massive clamshell with like five napkins. My kitchen trash bag fills up twice as fast with all this junk.

Actually that clamshell kept your burger from getting crushed on the way home. The five napkins are because someone once complained about getting just one with a messy meal. Restaurants are just trying to avoid negative reviews and make sure your food arrives in one piece, especially with so many delivery orders now. It's a reaction to customer complaints, not just random waste.

Wait, five napkins like @jana_schmidt said? That's just crazy overkill for one burger. It feels like they're solving old complaints by creating a whole new trash problem. There has to be a better middle ground.
