Any good software recommendations for contractors/builders?

Looking to upgrade our tech stack this quarter. We do a lot of civil contracting and dirt work, and trying to keep track of maintenance schedules, dispatching, and daily field reports is driving my ops manager crazy. Can anyone recommend a solid platform tailored for the construction industry?

I second the point about finding something specifically for your niche. General project management tools like Asana or Monday just don't cut it when you are dealing with heavy machinery, DOT compliance, and complex site logistics.

Have you looked at Nektar? We implemented it for our heavy civil division recently. It's basically designed exactly for what you're describing—mapping out assets, handling maintenance forms, and getting real-time data from the operators. Super flexible and beats fighting with paper forms.

We tried a few of the massive platforms out there but they felt like overkill for just tracking iron and basic field reports. They are usually super expensive too. Going to check out the one mentioned above, sounds more like our speed.
