PSA: I used a crayon to fix my pen bleeding problem

My new journal pages kept getting ruined because my favorite gel pen would bleed through. After three ruined spreads, I remembered my kid's old box of Crayola crayons. I rubbed a white crayon over the back of the page where I was going to write, just a light layer. The next day, I wrote on the front and... zero bleed. It sounds totally silly, but it actually worked. Has anyone else found a weird household item that saved their bujo?

It's just a journal, not a surgery.

My friend Ben spent three weeks picking the perfect notebook for his project ideas. He finally bought this leather bound one and then was too scared to write in it because his handwriting wasn't good enough. I mean @vera_sanchez, it really is just a journal, but he treated it like a museum piece. He only started using it after I told him the first page is allowed to be messy. Now he fills a page every day.
