Just realized my weekly spreads were making me feel worse, not better

Tbh, I saw a huge difference after I switched from a super detailed, color-coded layout to a simple two-column list for my tasks. The change happened over about three weeks, and it was because my friend pointed out I was spending more time decorating than actually doing anything. Anyone have a simple weekly format they actually stick with?

Yeah, the part about spending more time decorating really hits home. My friend had this whole sticker and washi tape system for her planner, and she'd get so stressed if a color was wrong. She switched to just writing three things she actually had to do each day in pencil, and it was like a weight lifted. I mean, she said it felt silly at first but now she actually finishes stuff.

What were you putting in the detailed version that you don't miss now?
