I spilled coffee on my October spread and ended up with my best week of the month
Last Tuesday I knocked a full mug of coffee across my desk and it soaked right through my October weekly spread, all over Tuesday and Wednesday. I was so mad I almost threw the whole notebook out, but instead I grabbed some whiteout and just redrew the boxes smaller on the dried pages. Since the layout was already messed up, I stopped trying to make it pretty and just wrote down the three things that actually mattered each day. That week I finished a work project two days early, finally called my dentist after putting it off since June, and went to the gym all five days, which never happens. Normally I spend 20 minutes a night fussing over color coding and washi tape and then do nothing on the list. Something about the ruined page just made me stop decorating and start doing. Now I'm wondering if I should mess up my spreads on purpose. Has anyone else had a wrecked page actually help their planning, or am I just weird?
