Appreciation post: My journal saved a project last Tuesday

Had three different clients call with schedule changes at the same time. My weekly spread was a mess of arrows and notes, but I could see the new plan right away. How do you handle a day when everything shifts at once?

I used to just scribble on sticky notes when plans changed. Now I rewrite the whole day in my journal so it's clean and clear. It takes an extra minute but saves me from missing things later.

My system is a chaotic scribble on a whiteboard that only I can understand. When everything shifts, I just start a new column for the new plan and hope I can read my own handwriting later. What's your go-to method for keeping those sudden changes clear?
