A conference in Austin taught me trackers are overrated, fight me
Went to that big planner meetup last fall, listened to three speakers hype up habit trackers like they were the secret to life. Everyone around me nodding, taking notes. I sat there thinking about how I spent six months tracking water intake and sleep and reading pages, and what did it actually do for me? Nothing. Just made me feel bad on the days my box stayed empty. So I dropped every tracker except my monthly migraine log, which is medical and actually useful. The rest of my spread is just rapid logging and future planning. Way less pretty, way more functional. Has anyone else ditched the aesthetic side after seeing it in person and realizing it's mostly for show?
