Looking back at my old cable package feels like a different life...

For years I paid over $200 a month for a huge bundle with channels I never watched. I finally cut it all out about two years ago and just kept internet. I went from that crazy bill to paying $85 flat... it's like finding money in the couch every single month. Anyone else finally ditch cable and feel silly for waiting so long?

My family's sports package was the only reason we kept it, and now we're paying more for three separate streaming services to watch the same games.

Remember when you had to pay extra for the weather channel? Like, to see if it was raining... outside your window. I was basically funding a 24/7 infomercial network for weird kitchen gadgets I'd never buy. The real kicker was still scrolling for an hour saying there's nothing on.
