Took me 6 weeks to crack a $31 grocery week
Kept overshooting on fresh stuff that went bad by Tuesday, then I switched to a two-day meal plan and froze the rest. Anyone else find that planning for 5 days just wastes more money than it saves?

Tried the same thing a while back and honestly, the two-day plan is the move. I’d buy a whole week’s worth of greens and they’d be mush by day four, so now I only grab what I’ll cook within 48 hours and keep stuff like carrots and cabbage for the later days. Also got into batch freezing single servings of soup and chili, which cuts down on the “nothing to eat, order takeout” trap. It’s not as fancy but way less money in the trash.
