Just realized using a 9-inch level for a 4-foot garden wall was way slower than grabbing the 4-footer from the truck.
I was laying the capstones on a client's project in Bellingham and the smaller level meant constantly checking and rechecking each stone, which added almost an hour compared to when I finally switched tools and could just lay the long edge across the whole run at once.

Right tool for the job makes all the difference. That's a classic time-waster that seems small but adds up fast. I've definitely been there, trying to make a small tool work for a big job. It feels so much better when you finally just go get the right one.

Totally agree, @davidmurphy! I wasted an hour last week trying to use a butter knife as a screwdriver. Just biting the bullet and getting the right tool saves so much time and stress.
