PSA: Check the drainage at your local botanical garden before you visit after a storm

I was at the Denver Botanic Gardens last Saturday after 3 days of rain and the tropical greenhouse smelled like a swamp because the gravel drains were totally clogged, has anyone else dealt with soggy garden paths ruining the vibe?
