Rant: my bone folder snapped clean in half yesterday
It was my old standby that lasted 8 years and I've never had one break like that before, so has anyone found a brand that actually holds up under heavy use?

You had an old standby that lasted 8 years? That's solid. I've snapped two bone folders in my time, both cheap ones from a craft store. The one that's held up for me is the bone folder from C.S. Osborne, it's thick and feels like it can take a beating. I've even used it to burnish some really stubborn paper and it didn't even flex. Ever try one of those, or are you looking for something with a different shape?
