Our book club just finished its 50th book and I'm the only one who hated it

We read 'The Midnight Library' for our 50th pick, and I was genuinely shocked when the tally showed everyone else gave it a 4 or 5 star rating. I found the main character's choices frustrating and the ending felt too neat. It made me wonder if I'm just out of sync with the group's taste after all this time. Has anyone else felt totally alone in disliking a club's milestone book?

Oh man, that's the worst feeling. I was the only one who hated our club's big anniversary pick too, and it made me question everything. Sometimes a book just doesn't click for you, and that's totally fine.
