My friend told me to skip the last chapter of 'Project Hail Mary' before our club met

Honestly, she said it would make the ending hit harder if I just stopped at page 350. I finished the whole thing anyway and, ngl, the final twist was way better with that last bit. Anyone else get advice that totally missed the mark for a book club pick?
