I keep seeing people in book clubs misread the ending of thrillers
It drives me crazy when someone says a thriller was predictable but they missed the big clue on page 112. Last week my club read "The Silent Patient" and half the members thought the twist was about the husband. They skipped over the part where the therapist's own story was hinted at from chapter 2. How do you all handle it when someone gets a key detail wrong and it changes the whole debate?

Didn't someone in your group bring snacks that distracted everyone from the real clues?

Wait WHAT, someone brought snacks and it threw off the whole investigation? I need to know what snacks we're talking about here because that detail changes everything.
