Gave up dog-earing pages after a friend's note in the margin

I used to fold corners on every book, thought it was harmless. Then my buddy showed me his 2004 copy of Moby Dick with pencil notes from his late dad, and I realized my creases were wrecking the reading experience for someone else. Now I use sticky tabs, costs like 3 bucks for 500. Anyone else switch their annotation style mid-club?
