Found a better way to hold firewatch with a cheap timer from the drugstore
I kept losing track of my 30 minute intervals after a hot job last week, so I grabbed a $8 kitchen timer with a loud beep and clipped it to my belt loop. Has anyone else tried something like that instead of using their phone?

That timer's probably more reliable than my phone, which always dies halfway through.

Oh man, I actually gotta disagree with @dakota_king80 on that one. I mean, my phone's never let me down for timing, plus I can set it and just glance at it without digging for a beeping thing on my belt.
