Actually got a cherry red bead on that repair job yesterday

Been fighting with TIG welding these thin stainless panels for a local food plant. Finally dialed in the gas flow and travel speed just right around 3pm and it laid down perfect. Anybody else find themselves chasing that one setting for weeks before it clicks?

Took me three full days last month chasing 1/16" tungsten stickout on some 16-gauge 304 stainless. Felt like every pass was either birdnesting or sugaring until I backed the gas down to 15 cfh and slowed my travel speed by half. That moment when it finally clicks and the puddle just sits there perfect is honestly better than coffee.
