Showerthought: the 2 minute delay on my router's guest wifi finally broke my late night scrolling loop
Every night I'd tell myself I was going to bed at 11, then I'd be on my phone until 1am, mostly just moving between apps with nothing new. Last week I set up the guest wifi on my router with a schedule that turns it off at 11:15, and I moved my phone onto that network before bed. The first night it cut out mid video and I just sat there annoyed for a bit, then brushed my teeth and went to sleep. Five nights in and I've been in bed before midnight four of them, which is roughly 7 extra hours of sleep for the week. There's an old phone on my nightstand on the regular wifi for emergencies, so I'm not totally cut off. Anyone tried a version of this that doesn't make you want to just log back into the main network at 12:30?
