Am I the only one who realized the phone in the other room needs to be face down too
I put my phone in the kitchen drawer during work hours for 3 months and still got pulled back in because the screen lit up through the gap and I'd peek at it. Flipping it face down and turning off vibration fixed like 90 percent of it, since I stopped getting that little hit of curiosity every 10 minutes. Does anyone else have a tiny setup detail that made a big difference, or am I just late to this?
I used to figure the drawer was enough, like out of sight out of mind, and then I caught myself opening it just to check the time every half hour. The face down thing sounded kind of silly to me until I tried it and the difference was real. My dumbest one is putting a sticky note over the front camera on my work laptop, not for privacy but because seeing that little light made me close tabs and get back to it. Turning off notification sounds on the phone but keeping calls on also helped a lot. Small stuff but it stacks up.
